My Background

I spent the first ten years of my nursing career working in Urology with a wide variety of populations ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. During my time in this role, I wore many hats, including charge nurse for seven years. It was during this time that I realized I have a true knack for critical thinking and am able to synchronize and execute complex undertakings with a diverse set of individuals in different roles.

 

I transitioned into a department administrator role in 2014 and really found my groove! I left my hospital career to pursue other avenues and have found I really enjoy helping people in the mental health world.

A little bit about me outside of work

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time outside with my husband Andy and our two dogs, Dakota (Australian Shepherd) and Buddy (Pit/Pointer mix). Camping, hiking, cross-country road trips, and world travel are just a few of my favorite things! I also love to draw, am an avid reader, and love to bake!
